"Stefan started here in 2004 as a medical copywriter," said Elizabeth Apelles, Greater Than One CEO. "Since then, he has contributed significantly not only to the growth of our physician marketing practice, but to the spirit of the company as well."
Armstrong has nearly 20 years of experience developing communications for medical specialists, primary care physicians, academic researchers, nurses, pharmacists, and other ancillary care providers. His work is rooted in the understanding that, besides being highly qualified professionals, healthcare workers are people, too. "Tactics that resonate with human as well as intellectual needs are bound to be most effective," says Armstrong.
For seven years, Armstrong served as Director of Medical Content at Greater Than One, and was responsible for leading content strategy and overseeing production and approval of all content. He led solutions to integrate content development into production for interactive media, quality assurance, and version control, increasing client satisfaction and agency efficiency. In his role as Partner, Armstrong is moving into Greater than One’s Strategy group, where he will carry forward his sensitivity to content and how it can meet the needs of specific audiences.
Prior to Greater Than One, Stefan was an Editor for the National Kidney Foundation, Managing Editor for BioContinuum Group, and Senior Writer for Medi Cine, an HCP medical video production company. His work has received over 50 awards, including 4 Webbys, 2 Hives, and a Cine Golden Eagle.
